Pressure into peace. Wounds into gold. One faithful step at a time.
Breathe. You made it here.
Before anything else โ unclench your jaw, drop your shoulders, and take one slow breath. There's nothing to perform on this page. No exam, no pressure, no tricks. Just a quiet space built by someone who has carried what you might be carrying: money pressure, family weight, heartbreak, burnout, the ache to be seen.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."โ Matthew 11:28
YOUR JOURNEY HERE
Just arrived โ welcome ๐
๐บ Kintsugi โ the golden repair
In 15th-century Japan, the story goes, a ruler sent his favourite broken tea bowl away for repair. It came back held together with ugly metal staples โ functional, but sad. So his craftsmen tried something different: they rejoined the pieces with lacquer and dusted the seams with gold. The bowl came back more beautiful โ and more valuable โ than before it broke. The cracks weren't hidden. They were honoured. That art is called kintsugi: golden repair.
Here's the grounding truth: this is not just pottery. It's how God works with people. He doesn't staple you back together and hope nobody notices. He fills the broken places with something precious, so that the very part of your story you wanted to hide becomes the part that carries the most light.
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."โ Psalm 147:3
A living case study: the man behind this page lost a career he'd built, walked through a painful separation, faced pressure that touched everything he loved โ and instead of hiding the cracks, he wrote them into a book called For Honour. Every chapter is a crack filled with gold: home, energy, choices, love, guilt, awakening, legacy, peace. This dashboard is that book, opened up so you can find your crack โ and what the gold looks like for you.
โฑ๏ธ Choose your time โ all three are honourable

๐ค Meet your guide
Fair question before you trust any path: who built this, and have they walked it? Here's the honest answer, in the same format as everything else on this page.
Lived it: lost a career he'd built, walked through a fire season that touched everything he loved โ and came back with a book instead of bitterness. Every lane here is a chapter he survived first.
Builds it: designs the communication and CRM systems organizations run on โ customer journeys, dashboards, event architecture. The same engineering holds this experience together, which is why your progress here gets measured, not guessed.
Trained for it: trained in ontological coaching methodologies and served as an introduction leader โ then grounded all of it in Christ, where transformation actually holds.
Gives it: hosts free Spark sessions every Monday, wrote the wounds into "For Honour" so others could find words for theirs, and built this whole dashboard free โ because the front door of healing should never be paywalled.
Quiet credentials line: Shaun Bukusi โ systems & strategy consultant, trained coach, author of "For Honour," founder of Infinite Love Services, Nairobi.
"By their fruit you will recognize them."โ Matthew 7:16
๐บ๏ธ The eight lanes โ find yours
Each lane is a chapter of the story and a kind of weight people carry. Tap the one that feels like today. Gold marks the ones you've visited.
๐ Home โ belonging & grief
The weight: missing people who are gone, feeling like a visitor in your own family, carrying love and loss in the same heart. Home changed โ or was never safe โ and part of you is still looking for it.
Best: you name the grief out loud this week โ and discover naming it doesn't break you; it frees you.
Base: some days heavy, some days light. You visit the memory gently instead of running from it. That's healing.
Bear: a hard day hits โ a song, a smell, a date. Plan: one message to one safe person. Grief shared is grief halved.
God-room: home starts growing where you are โ your table, your people, His presence. You become the home you were looking for.
5โ10 min devotion flow
Settle (1 min): slow breath. "God is here."
Read (2 min): the verse below, twice, slowly.
Journal (4 min): Where did "home" feel most real to you โ and who made it feel that way? What's one way you could pass that feeling on this month?
Pray (2 min): "Father, You set the lonely in families. Heal the rooms in my heart where home hurt. Help me carry home to others. Amen." Carry this into your Everyday with Jesus โ a few minutes with Him each morning.
The weight: always on, never enough. Side hustle on top of the job on top of the expectations. Rest feels like laziness and stopping feels like falling behind โ but the tank is empty.
Best: you take one real Sabbath this week and discover the world doesn't collapse โ and your work gets sharper.
Base: you build one protected rest block and defend it imperfectly. Progress, not perfection.
Bear: the week eats you. Plan: the 10-minute reset โ phone down, one walk, one prayer. Small rest still counts.
God-room: rhythm replaces hustle. You start working from rest instead of running toward it โ and people notice the peace on you.
5โ10 min devotion flow
Settle (1 min): shoulders down. Three slow breaths.
Read (2 min): the verse below. Notice the word "rest" is a promise, not a reward.
Journal (4 min): What am I afraid will happen if I stop? Who told me my worth equals my output?
Pray (2 min): "Jesus, I'm tired. Teach me Your unforced rhythms of grace. I trade my hustle for Your yoke today. Amen." Carry it into your Everyday with Jesus.
"My yoke is easy and my burden is light."โ Matthew 11:30
๐งญ Choice โ decisions & regret
The weight: the fork in the road that won't stop replaying. The fear of choosing wrong again. Advice from everyone, clarity from no one โ and time keeps moving whether you choose or not.
Best: you make the decision you've been circling โ small, prayed-over, reversible-where-possible โ and the relief tells you it was time.
Base: you break the big choice into one small next step and take just that. Direction beats speed.
Bear: analysis paralysis wins a round. Plan: write the two options, pray once, ask one wise person, set a 48h decision time.
God-room: a door you didn't plan opens while you're faithfully walking โ and the old regret quietly becomes the training that prepared you.
5โ10 min devotion flow
Settle (1 min): hands open on your lap โ a posture of receiving.
Read (2 min): the verse below. "Acknowledge" means invite Him into the actual decision.
Journal (4 min): What decision am I carrying alone? What would I do if I trusted that God redeems even wrong turns?
Pray (2 min): "Father, I bring You the actual choice in front of me. Straighten my path โ and heal my regrets into wisdom. Amen." Into your Everyday with Jesus.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heartโฆ and He will make your paths straight."โ Proverbs 3:5โ6
๐ฎ Ready Player Two โ love & loneliness
The weight: heartbreak that changed how you trust. Situationships that cost more than they gave. Watching everyone else pair up. Wanting real love and fearing it at the same time.
Best: you stop performing for love and start being honest โ and the right people move closer while the wrong ones drift.
Base: you learn your patterns (who you chase, why) one journal at a time. Self-knowledge is the first love language.
Bear: the lonely night hits. Plan: don't text the person you shouldn't. Text a friend, take the walk, pray it through โ the wave passes.
God-room: whole love finds you while you're busy becoming whole โ and it's calmer, kinder, and stronger than the movies promised.
5โ10 min devotion flow
Settle (1 min): put the phone face-down. This time is yours.
Read (2 min): the verse below โ you were never designed to do life solo, and that longing isn't weakness.
Journal (4 min): What am I really looking for in a person โ and which part of that is God's to give first? Where do I need a boundary, and where do I need a bridge?
Pray (2 min): "Lord, heal how I love. Guard my heart without hardening it. Prepare me for love that honours You. Amen." Into your Everyday with Jesus.
"Two are better than oneโฆ a cord of three strands is not quickly broken."โ Ecclesiastes 4:9,12
The weight: the thing you did, or the thing done to you, that still speaks at 2 a.m. The failure everyone saw โ or the one nobody knows. Shame says you ARE the mistake. Shame lies.
Best: you tell the whole truth to God and one safe person โ and discover confession is the fire that burns the shame, not you.
Base: the old voice still visits, but you've started answering it with truth. Quieter every week.
Bear: a shame spiral hits. Plan: speak Romans 8:1 out loud, move your body, tell someone "rough hour, pray for me." Spirals break when they're spoken.
God-room: the ashes become the platform โ your story starts freeing other people, and you realize the phoenix wasn't the point; the resurrection was.
5โ10 min devotion flow
Settle (1 min): hand on chest. "I am not my worst day."
Read (2 min): the verse below โ "no condemnation" is a legal verdict, not a mood.
Journal (4 min): What does shame keep replaying? What would beauty-from-these-ashes actually look like?
Pray (2 min): "Jesus, You took my shame so I don't have to keep it. I hand it over โ again if I must. Make gold of these cracks. Amen." Into your Everyday with Jesus.
"There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesusโฆ beauty for ashes."โ Romans 8:1 ยท Isaiah 61:3
๐ Awakening โ identity & purpose
The weight: "Who am I, really?" โ under the job title, the family role, the feed. The sense that you were made for more, tangled with the fear that you missed it.
Best: you stop auditioning for an identity and start receiving one โ and decisions get strangely easier.
Base: you try things, notice what gives life, and let purpose emerge instead of demanding it arrive. That IS the path.
Bear: comparison week โ everyone's ahead. Plan: mute what wounds, list three things God's already grown in you, do one small faithful thing.
God-room: the scattered chapters of your life suddenly read as one story โ and it was preparation, all of it.
5โ10 min devotion flow
Settle (1 min): "Before I do anything, I am His."
Read (2 min): the verse below โ "new creation" means the old verdicts expired.
Journal (4 min): When do I feel most alive and most myself? What would I do if worth wasn't the question?
Pray (2 min): "Father, wake me to who You say I am. I release the names I was given and the ones I earned. Name me Yourself. Amen." Into your Everyday with Jesus.
"If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come."โ 2 Corinthians 5:17
๐ณ Legacy โ worth & what you're building
The weight: providing, building, being counted on โ and wondering if any of it will last or matter. The pressure to leave something behind while barely holding today together.
Best: you define legacy in people, not just property โ and start investing in both with a plan instead of pressure.
Base: small consistent deposits: a skill taught, a habit modeled, a shilling stewarded. Legacy is compound interest.
Bear: a financial hit shakes the whole question. Plan: separate net worth from self-worth on paper; steward what remains; ask for help without shame.
God-room: what you plant starts bearing fruit you never engineered โ in your children, your people, your community โ and you understand the great-grandmother principle: love handed down outlives everything.
5โ10 min devotion flow
Settle (1 min): think of one person whose love still shapes you.
Read (2 min): the verse below โ inheritance in Scripture is more than money.
Journal (4 min): What do I want to hand down that can't be spent? Who handed something like that to me?
Pray (2 min): "Father, make me a good steward of what touches my hands and my people. Let my life pay forward. Amen." Into your Everyday with Jesus.
"A good person leaves an inheritance for their children's children."โ Proverbs 13:22
๐๏ธ Peace โ anxiety & rest of mind
The weight: the mind that won't switch off. What-ifs on loop. Peace that visits but never stays. You've tried distraction; it's a rental, not a home.
Best: you build the daily peace practice (the flow below) and anxiety loses its home-field advantage.
Base: peace comes in patches that slowly widen. You learn its doorway: gratitude plus honest prayer.
Bear: an anxious storm hits. Plan: name five things you can see, breathe slow, pray the verse below out loud, message one person. Storms pass; you remain.
God-room: the peace that surpasses understanding takes up residence โ steady under pressure that used to break you โ and people start asking what changed.
5โ10 min devotion flow
Settle (1 min): longest exhale of the day.
Read (2 min): the verse below โ note the exchange: worry handed over, peace handed back.
Journal (4 min): What am I carrying that was never mine to carry? What would I do today if my mind were quiet?
Pray (2 min): "Prince of Peace, I trade my what-ifs for Your watch. Guard my heart and mind tonight. Amen." Seal it in your Everyday with Jesus each morning.
"Do not be anxious about anythingโฆ and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."โ Philippians 4:6โ7
